Draft ponies are great plowing horses but they are also good at dressage and jumping.

Please tell me what you think of my disscussion.

You are very right....we have a local stallion that has more than proven himself in the jumpers to 3'6" and was amazing at Training Dressage in 2 shows, won his tests with outstanding comments from FEI level judges!!! A lot to be said for the 'try' and heart that he has!!! Pretty neat horse!

My old cobster, Bobby, schooling for dressage (many years ago). He hunted too!
You just can't beat a good cob as a GREAT all rounder!

WOW! omg! that is amazing
My mare is a full Clyde who was originally sent to the meat market. She was rescued by friends of mine who run a draft rescue, then she picked me to be her mommy....such a smart wee lass!!!!
We are in training for dressage and her personality is to die for!!!!!
Here is a pic of her at a recent Walter Zettl clinic...
Beautiful... can't believe she was sent for meat ...
wow! i love all the pics.
