Hit-and-run injuries top rider/kills horse

Isn't this horrible?!?!? I cant even believe there is some wacko out there doing something like this!

There is a facebook group also - "Bringing Peace for Bella" dedicated to getting the word out that the entire equestrian community is looking for this guy! If you live in Collingwood or close to it please join, print the article and post it everywhere!!! Let everyone you know hear about this and lets make sure that even the non-horsey community knows what happened to Bella.

We've all had enough of bad drivers not sharing the road...we can't let this become a trend!

I read that yesterday and it was horrifying. What I will never understand is how the driver could have just left the scene. I am sick for that horse and rider.

That is truly awful, scary when there are such sick people behind the wheel of a car. I hope they catch him,

It made me sick reading about it yesterday and my blood is still boiling today. The poor horse and poor rider. Glad Jessica is ok but I can't even begin to imagine what it was like for her to have to watch her horse suffer. And I can't believe the driver, does he not have a conscience? I mean to stop, yell at them and then take off. Personally if I were the passenger I would not get back in the truck with that guy. I hope he gets found and that they discipline him harshly. I am going on a road hack today but will defintiley be alot more careful and attentive.
