Pipsqueak Paddocks Miniature Horse Haven Society is a registered Non-Profit Society and Canadian Charity. (Charity # 808932222RR0001) We are a rehabilitation and rehoming centre for Miniature Horses in BC.
Our Mandate:
- To receive or acquire abused, neglected or unwanted Miniature Horses in British Columbia
- To provide these Miniature Horses with health care and training as needed.
- To place these Miniature Horses into screened, permanent homes.
- To educate the public about the versatility, care and handling of the Miniature Horse.
On April 1st, we recieved confirmation on two more incoming stallions. That makes a total of three gelding operations this month so far... it's going to be a rather large vet bill for April! So, we are having an awareness campaign for Pipsqueak Paddocks! We are encouraging anyone who is a fan of Miniature Horses to donate $10 this month and submit a name suggestion for two of the new boys!
The Sorrel - This guy was seized by the SPCA and held while his case went through court. He has just won the right to a better life and we can't wait to help him along in his journey! He is arriving Monday and I will then post a picture. He is chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail. He also has a lighter muzzle and large star.
The Bay - This cutie was put through a small animal auction. He is indeed small, but the kind person who bid on him did not want him going to a non-horsey home. He got ahold of us and asked if we would take him on. We were very happy to help this little guy out. He is terribly obese and generally neglected, but very sweet natured.
Please feel free to submit a name selection for each boy along with your donation by April 15th. Everyone will then be able to vote for one of our top three choices for each boy. They will be named on April 18th!
For details on how to donate, go to the "How To Help" page at http://www.PipsqueakPaddocks.com
Thank you for your support! A "little" goes a long way at Pipsqueak Paddocks!
