I read somewhere that the smell of a horse is soothing to a human that is brushing or petting it. I cannot remember where I read it. Anyone heard that?

I have never heard it stated that way exactly but it is .....oh so true.....for me. I have heard many people comment on how much they love the smell of a horse. Even the horsey small on a piece of my clothes will instantly sooth me.
Maybe we can bottle it!!!!

I think it might have said this in the book Horses as Teachers. I know I just love to go out and lay my head on my horses and just take a big deep breath.
Tina, you are right, it was that book that you gave me. I love it.
