Upping my Paxil prescription has really seemed to help. My doc feels this new higher dose will keep me from getting to the lows. I also try to walk often. What are you specifically doing for yourself?

We just saw The Fourth Kind, about alien abductions and UFOs. I love that kind of stuff. Don't know how much was factual, but it was riveting.

Hello to All,

I was truly sorry to hear of Marti's passing. She was a long time community member and added so much here through her participation and her creation of groups such as this, where people could come together to share their personal stories among supportive friends. Marty will be truly missed and my heart goes out to her family and friends at this very difficult time.

We will keep Marti's groups up and running in her honour and I am certain they will continue to be a source of support and friendship, as she hoped they would be.

Hi, Shirley. It is expensive, but any price is worth being normal again. I saw improvement the second week, but not $120 worth, lol. Now I feel totally fine.

HI Marti, Glad to hear you are feeling better on the generic Effexor. Interesting how different we all are, I saw improvement in my depression on Effexor within a week/10 days. I hope it continues to help keep you feeling better for a long time. Horses sure do help too.
I've been havin lots of fun 'Horsen Around" !

Sorry i haven't been around lately. I have been extremely busy and also trying to get my newly diagnosed Bi-Polar disease under control. i have been taking generic Effexor for several months now and it finally kicked in last week. I was about to quit taking it, btw. But it costs me $120 a month!! My husband said I could have 2 extra horses for the amount it costs. But since it is working, I am going to keep on taking it. I missed you all. What is new with everyone??

Hi, I haven't visited this group in a while. I've been busy with my practice, and my horse of course! Has the coming of spring and the sunshine been helpful to those of us who suffer from SAD, and the opportunity to connect with our wonderful equine companions equally beneficial to everyone else?

Tara, I would go mad if I couldn't ride, either. Horses are a blessing.
