Weather, anyone affected by it?

The CA valley gets extremely hot in summer, and often rains for 4 days at a time in the winter. Sometimes we have a short fall and short spring, my favorite times, however we also have lovely winter days where you can just wear a tee shirt. Anyway, if I'm trapped inside by weather, I get pretty down and out of sorts. And having 6 horses to care for, the worse the weather is, the less fun it is. Country mud.....YUCK!
