EHV-1:  Pilchuck Treating Veterinarian Discusses Outbreak

Wendy Mollat, DVM, Dipl. ACVIM, has been the lead veterinarian treating one of the early patients in the 2011 EHV-1 outbreak. The horse was taken to Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital in Snohomish, Washington, for treatment and quarantine.

Dr. Mollat was willing to take time out from her busy schedule to answer some questions for Barnmice about EHV-1 and the 2011 outbreak.

You can read the Barnmice blog entry for more information about this disease and the current outbreak.
