I received an email from Barbara asking whether I would be interested in a regular contribution-unfortnately there was no address to reply to therefore I am replying here. Although not a current member of any endurance affiliations, I have loved and participated in the sport of distance riding since 1982. Currently I own and run a small private operation dedicated to breeding and raising correct welltempered and versatile equine athletes. My next hopeful endurance partner will be 3 in April. We have ponied out in the Simcoe county forest since April 2010, added tack in August, and a rider last month. So far, so good. We have 5 riding horses, 4 broodmares and 2 weanlings currently in residence here. To round things out, I also work the thoroughbred bloodstock sales all over North America. I would welcome a chance to assist interested horse lovers in their search for knowledge and information in this physically and mentally challenging sport.
