Does anyone here use a bitless bridle? Do you like it? I'm thinking of ordering Dr. cooks but not sure.

It sounds like the bitless bridle is a really good thing for horses who have been trained the "old fashioned way" (heavy hands and bits) too help them trust again. They seem to be great too to teach "softer hands" to the first timers on those steady, good hearted school horses (of which I have one). In light of that I think I might get one to try although I still am going to teach back to front and soft hands.
Cindy, What do you mean by the term 'back to front"? The whole horse?
I have ridden some one reined with a rope halter and then two reined with a rope halter and had good results with that.
My horse got his basic training from a gentle excellent young man with a snaffle bit and my horse seems to prefer that but he also responds well to the bitless/rope/hackamore style.
