Hi, I'm thinking of learning how to do eventing with my horse and was wondering if anyone had any tips or anything for me?

You are now on a lifetime journey. You will never learn it all not matter how many years you ride. Check out WILLIAM MICKLEM'S TEN STEPS TO A 'FIFTH LEG'. It is the best basic's list i have read in years. Hope you have a top trainer who will make sure you and your horse have a good foundation. I would recommend that you not worry about 'moving up' too fast. Just be sure that you and your horse are safe and having fun.
I agree,
William's blogs are excellent and the Fifth Leg list gives the rider a lot to think about.
Thanx guys!!
