Horrible news to be sure. Unfortunately there is no way to make what in inherently a dangerous sport and these type of accidents will always be in the background waiting to happen. I applaud the sport for all the strides it has taken in especially the last couple of years to make it safer. I wonder if he was wearing one of the new inflatable vests?
