Too good to be true!   NOPE!  Your answer?  The Nose-It!  The Nose-It! is an interactive animal feeder made in Littleton, CO.  There is multiple proof that slow feeders and interactive feeders are ideal for stalled as well as pasture bred horses.

Horses can overeat causing colic, or eat too fast -- my favorite are the "sprinkler" horses that spew more feed out of their mouth than actually ingest.  While comical to watch the "sprinkler" eater, the waste of feed (MONEY) is not so comical.  The Nose-It! s-l-o-w-s them down and is even more comical to watch...for up to an hour!  Many horse owners recognize the fact that feed time is the BEST time for horses (in their point of view).  Now imagine making that 5 minutes last for nearly an hour or more!

Do not think that you put treats in the Nose-It!  Most of Nose-It!s current customer base includes horses that are insulin resistant, have Cushings disease or other metabolic issues.  Nose-It! recommends using complete feed cubes/wafers, alfalfa or timothy cubes, or even alfalfa or timothy pellets.  You can even use the Nose-It!s to put feed your typical grain ration (AS LONG AS you place the Nose-It! into a large trough or feeder to eliminate the chance of pellets mixing with sand or bedding).

We even have 2 blind horses that LOVE their Nose-It!s  Don’t forget your long eared equines nor the other pets!  I feed my Nigerian Dwarf goats and dogs using the Nose-It!

Dogs? YES!  Did you know that bloat is the leading cause of death among dogs aside from cancer? Maybe you’ve experienced a dog that eats so fast that they get sick right after eating?   Simply pour you kibble ration into the Nose-It! and keep your pups entertained while they eat.  Remember that dogs are naturally born scavengers …just as the horse is a grazer.

The Nose-It! allows for all animals to do what comes naturally.  Contact me for more information or check out our current website!
