the mare received nothing. Neither received worming as well.
She is allowing me first pick of 2010 foals. Were making sure shots get done this time.

:( I'm so sorry, Holly. Did they not give the mare, at least, her pre-foaling vaccinations? Are they compensating you at all?

forgot to update everyone about my new stallion - he had to be put down about a month ago from tetanus, at the age of 5 months.
thats what happens when people neglect horses, especially foals.
I wish i had asked for his shots done before i got him.

I sure do miss him.
He did very well at the shows he went to, recieving two seconds and a first, the first was out of 9 weanlings at the MHCO show in Orangeville.

My dream is to own my own farm instead of boarding my horses, and when that happens I'm getting a few miniatures!! I am soo excited about it.

We brought our new stallion home yesterday:) What fun i'm having with him...halter breaking(Y) hah, he's actually not doing bad at all. Yesterday was the first day he was ever away from his mom, first time with a halter and first time on a trailer, and he was perfect. And today i took him our quite a few times as he had many visitors and he's doing amazing. Doesn't stop or anything.
He is such a goof ball...he's afraid of cats! And he thinks im his mom not, because he was a big mommas boy and now i've replaced his mom and he's sooo attached, he calls for me as soon as i go out of site, or leave the barn.

Thanks, Kristen ;) She is the culmination of 3 years' planning. So I'm just so proud to have her here, safe and sound and happy...and, of course, a little rascal.

Just thought I'd share a cute pic of my girl, Briar, with my dog, Callie. Briar is about a month old here. She'll be 2 months old on the 14th! She's my little princess...:)

I have a medium size Miniature Horse cable show halter for sale. black cable with brass and brown beads. chin chain, keeper (and an extra one too), and lead are all included. there is also 2 tiny hooks to attach a throat latch chain and conchos. its too small for my mini, i bought it used but i never used it.
asking $40. excellent condition
