Gary here, I am in Binbrook not to far from you.  If you  would like to try a different equine activity with your horse I may have an idea. Have you ever thought of historical re-enacting?  How about mounted cavalry, it is not an expensive equine activity to participate in and you spend the whole weekend with your horse.  What could be more fun?
