A Bit About Me and my Horse(s)
I am 46 have three children all boys and two grandchildren, a boy and a girl. I own a small farm that needs a great deal of work in the eastern townships in Quebec Canada. I hope to someday soon open a stable. At this time own four horses. My first horse is a 25 year old Quater horse gelding. He has been with for 18 years now and I consider him my baby. The next horse is a standardbred and she is at least 18 years old. She is the boss of the herd and she is also the smallest of all the horses here. She had a foal this year in April and we named that little filly April The last horse here is one I rescued last fall and he is Quater horse-arab and I'm not too sure about his age yet since I am still waiting for his papers. My son also has his 4 horses here. I ride mostly trail as often as I can and my sons come with me sometime which allows some beautiful family time.

HI Jeanne, I just saw the note you posted at the time of the loss of your horse friend of 20 years. I hope you do have many pictures and I'm sure from how you talk you have very many special memories. That is a blessing. I hope you will soon feel like you can start enjoying your other horses and finding how to let them ease your pain. I have problems with depression and being with the horses helps more then anything else I have ever experienced to help me maintain a good place with life. My children are grown now and I have good relationships with all of them but my horse is so soothing to my soul. I hope you find that too with another horse. I hope the pain and sadness are lessening for you as time goes by.

Sent with a hug! Shirley
