Profile Information

A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): I am a retired soldier who never takes anything for granted or at face value when it comes to horses. At 46 years young, horses are a big part of life for me and my best friend, who also happens to be my wife of 26 years, My horse Fridays Chance is 10 now, a former stud horse gelded late in life at 7or so. I got him at a time when I was unhappy with all the information and techniques I was being shown or taught by other horse people and trainers. So Together him and I started studying natural horsemanship techniques. He went from being afraid to step over a shoelace to jumping barrels like a pro. He is well on his way to be being a good all around horse and hopefully will get me to my first cowboy mounted shooting competition in the future. He has taught me volumes and we are not done yet.

Slowly getting back to normal

Its been a long year for us here, my brother in law(may he rest in peace) has lost his year long battle with cancer.Jayne lost her horse in june to a rare unexpected medical condition. All the general things life can throw at a person came this year and so my focus has been on family and left little time for me to keep up with barnmice. However things should be begin to settle down now and I should be posting some updates soon. Including some new video footage of chance the wonder horse.
