A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): I am married with three kids. I share a 50 acre farm with my family , one arab/welsh, two donkeys (all rescues), eight goats, two dogs, two cats, two rabbits, and an assortment of ducks and chickens (some show birds and some layers).
I adopted my Arab cross mare from a rescue, about seven years ago. The donkeys were adopted from a local sanctuary almost eight and a half years ago,

My name is Gary Glaser and I am the mounted commander of the 9th New York Cavalry and live in Binbrook, Ont. I belong to a group of equine enthusiasts that enjoy living historians and American civil war, we are the 9^th NY cavalry.

The Ninth New York Cavalry has been reactivated by ain the portrayal of the life of the Federal Horse Soldier. As a group, we participate in living history encampments, re-enactments, and giving informative lectures throughout the year in both Ontario and the U.S.
