How about mounted cavalry, it is not an expensive equine activity to participate in and you spend the whole weekend with your horse. What could be more fun? The 9^th NY Cavalry will be drilling not far from your place on May 23,24,25, We will be at Gorgonian Village just outside of Keswick.
