A Bit About Me and my Horse(s)
My horse, Noah Vail is a tall, dark and handsome American quarter horse who once enjoyed a brush with fame on an Oklahoma racetrack. When that business plan stalled, he moved to Minnesota where he (with a little help from his partner Mary) launched a new career as a horse humorist and author extraordinaire. Noah blogs, tweets, opines on the human condition, and plays a sharp game of cribbage.

Equine Coauthor Noah Vail Releases a New Literary Winner

The Promise in 'Plan B'

The Promise in ‘Plan B’ is the first inspirational book that inspired me to finish it. This is because Ms. Farr’s book is more personal than others and not at all pompous; I mean her horse helped write it. She, Mary, not the horse, certainly relates…

When Your Plan A Bombs

Here we are on Book Launch Day, and my equine muse Noah Vail sent me a text saying he needed a cold compress for his head. Apparently his new role as my official publicist for The Promise in Plan B has sparked a headache and acute case of stage fright.  …

At least that’s what Madam intended, until we met with the first surprise. It was then I remembered that spring trail riding was a bit like a good poker game, dandy…

Keeping up Appearances

Madam might be taking this writing partnership of ours a tad far. First she assigned me the job of publicist. That was fine until she informed Gabe and me that a Horse Opoly tournament with the local Belgian pulling horses did not comprise a proper book promotion. That’s when I suggested she might like to tackle this publicist task on her own since I was running low on tasteful ideas.

“Why, yes,” she agreed. “I’ll be happy to cook up a few events.”

Since then,…

Hi Mary! Thanks for the friends add! Our boys do look a lot alike, both so handsome! Cooper is supposed to be half quarter horse, other half paint/arab/draft of some kind mix.
