Yeah I do the lying down thing but I will have to build a box.....Bella is an amazing mover...I will have to get video of her soon. You would be amazed at how shes grown into a fine little filly:) She will be 3 in April. I just cant believe it. Hows Johns health? You still working with him? Hope all is well with you.....
I use the box to help them learn patience, trust and how to load, walk over bridges etc. And for fun. It is relaxing for them too and helps stretch their backs as well. I also teach them to bow and to lie down too. Humbling for the horse with an attitude.
Yes, some horses sure get that problem with their teeth - I've been lucky so far. I have had some skin itchyness lately so I got them all with Ivermectin - I've not used that for a whiles, so I think I solved the problem. Are you riding your Bella yet? I know you had the cowboy trainer working with her. She must be so lovely - I look forward to more recent pics when you get a chance :)
Hey, have you been back here at all? I never seem to have time for any of this... this pic is my 2 3 year olds on the box together! They are both pretty much ready to ride anytime. Today, we did free jump work and tonight it is snowing like crazy! 3 inches at least and no end in sight!
