Myself, I started riding in my late 40s. Never rode before that. I bought a baroque horse specifically because of their character and personality.

I am wondering if there are any other mature riders who have come back to riding after many many years in the wilderness (or wheelchair in my case) thanks to the wonder of baroque horses trained in the true classical manner?

- Little old lady - once upon a time top level competitive 3day rider on crazy but brave TB's - then splat - x years in wheelchair, never ride again, the usual story. 28 years later discovered Iberian horses this past year, in total shock at their marvellous attitude and that I can ride them and do it correctly - totally completely and utterly besotted - changing my life to include an Iberian very very soon.
