A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): My husband & I live on a 28 acre farm in the Thompson,Okanagan.A very
beautiful area. He is still working f/t,while I`m retired & enjoy the farm.
I have a Standardbred mare 18yrs,& a gelding 4yrs. They are both pacers.
My mare was off to slaughter when I fell into her life & my gelding the same.
My mare goes western,while my boy is a work in progress. I have done
cattle penning & sorting with the mare,she has become very cowy. Hope
fully with hard work & persistance I will have the boy where my mare is.
In Aug.of this yr.our mountain caught fire,all life was evacuated for over a week,very stressful for all.The fire crews were amazing,not one structure was lost & the swat team was guarding all properties from looters.Hats off to those who were involved. Out of this we have made some new friends,which is always a good thing.And I have a small herd of horses,3,I aquired a Breeders Cup winner from Fraser Downs,Cloverdale,BC,Canada.He was a rescue some yrs. back. I love the Standies,such a miss understood breed.

Do you have any pets?: 2 Newfoundland,Retriever X`s, Burnese Mountain Dog & cat
