Just curious, who here is a rider/coach in Ontario. And what the heck is with the lack of western here ?!
It's upsetting :(
I'm from Montreal, I compete in reining, western pleasure and train. Currently looking for different barns and riders to network with and get a little bit of a community going out here!

Hi there, it's been awhile since I was on last. How was everyone's winter going? How are the horses? Mine are fat and sassy, had to put a turnout blanket on Slocan TNT this winter, his 24 year old bones and muscles need the extra TLC. Parka got some hay dust in his eye so have been nursing that with homeopathics and flushing. I also got a fly mask which helps protect against UV rays, it's great for the winter glare off the snow and keeping dust and hay particles from blowing in his eyes. Other than that the other 4 are doing just great. Our mare Flick decided at -20 C she was going to get out and help herself to the hay, fortunately we found her before she did any damage. It turns out she climbed over the feeder which has been lowered due to snow packing, repaired that by raising the bars to chest level instead of knees.
Hi, all.... I am happy to join the western riders group! What a great idea. I have owned Cisco for three years now and she is 6 years old. I enjoy trail riding in our area, just outside Ancaster. Looking forward to hearing from and getting know others in this group.
