A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): I have been active in the dressage for 25 years (having started as a jumper rider). I own & operate "Granitewood Farm" (since 1993)...we have primarily dressage enthusiasts& a few "happy hackers".I have been fortunate over the years to have trained with some stellar coaches..Roger Seegert,Ashley Holtzer, Jacqui Brooks and most recently Andrea Bresee. Sandra Zarn from the "old Amberwood" days was my very first teacher. I love coaching and riding and my horses.

Do you have any pets?: 2 dogs, 5 cats (4in the barn),2 budgies(in the barn with the cats...oops)

My name is Gary Glaser and I am the mounted commander of the 9th New York Cavalry and live in Binbrook, not to far from you . I belong to a group of equine enthusiasts that enjoy living historians and American civil war, we are the 9^th NY cavalry.

The Ninth New York Cavalry has been reactivated by ain the portrayal of the life of the Federal Horse Soldier. As a group, we participate in living history encampments, re-enactments, and giving informative lectures throughout the year in both Ontario and the U.S.
