If you would like to try a different equine activity with your horse I may have an idea. Have you ever thought of historical re-enacting? How about mounted cavalry, it is not an expensive equine activity to participate in and you spend the whole weekend with your horse. What could be more fun? The 9th NY Cavalry will be drilling not far from your place on May 23,24,25, We will be at Gorgonian Village just outside of Keswick.
If you would like to come over and meet use or even come over to try this hobby let me know. There is no fee for trying out, and if you like it the cost is minimal.
