Adoptable Horse of the Week - Penny from Triple H Miniature Horse Rescue!

Penny is approximately 37 inches. She was badly neglected and had horrible feet .

She is doing well, though and is running around enjoying her new digs.

She will make an excellent friend.

Horses as Guide Animals for the Blind... Radio Interview

Hi gang!

At Animal Matters Radio we had alot of fun talking to Janet Burleson (The Guide Horse Foundation) www.guidehorse.org.

And as a horse person I have to say that if I ever did lose my sight I would opt for the mini wonder seeing eye horses as my partner.

Not living in NYC though, they need at least a back yard! and TGHF gives each recipient a companion mini so that the seeing eye mini has a herd friend when not on duty.

Cali's first visit to a restaurant

Cali made her first visit to a restaurant today. With permission of the

owners we attended the year end banquet for the local Mini Horse club.

Cali, rode in the SUV. We towed her bathroom. Which is her trailer at this

moment.She is comfortable "going" there. She goes right on cue every time I ask

her. She did need her ramp to get in to the SUV, but she jumped out. Good girl!
