So the other day I inoccently wandered into a local tack store and ended coming out with a new sheepskin half pad, a set of jointed irons, new leather riding boots, and a new bit for Summer.

Its funny how no horse person can ever go into a tack shop without spending $200 and up! Mabye its the new leather smell, or all the shiny objects..lol Its like we go into the store just needing a rubber martingale stopper and then suddenly we remember we need a new show bridle, a new show…

Yes we did! Its official now. I own a beautiful white and brown 6 yr old Dutch WB X Paint X Welsh pony now. After a LOOOOOOOOOONG and drawn out affair it was, its finally over and I'm happy with my desicion. We are now working towards our first show together as a team in the second weekend in March. Going to start low, like cantering a low course of X-rails, and we'll go from their. I want to be able to complete my last 3 Level's on her and then see where we both are at then.

So we put in an offer for Summer and we pretty well have it accepted. For those of you who dont know Summer, she is a 6 yr old 14.2hh Dutch WB X Paint X Welsh (Dam is Paint and Sire is Dutch X Welsh). Beautiful Little Hunter Pony. I appoligize for not posting for awhile, been crazy busy. First of all, yes I got the job. I get all my chores done from 8 - 11 am. That means I get up at 7am and so I'm constantly tired, but I do get Friday to Sunday off which is good, I don't think I could handle 7 days a week. So, after enduring -15 tempatures in Manitoba, fog so thick in Edmonton that you can cut a hole in it, and the 2 hr farry ride to the island, we are doing pretty good. Yes all is well. We are going to be at the house on time. No delays (as my other post mentioned). We will be moving in this coming Friday. Hello all

Well instead of moving on the 24th of October we are now going to get there arond the first week of Novemeber. Sucks bad. O-Well cant do anything about it, I just hope I will still have my job when I get there. I am really excited though just to be moving.

So were getting ready for our moving sale this Friday and Saturday, you probebly already no if you saw my discussion for my tack for sale. We leave on the 17th and we sould get there on the 22nd or so, depends how long we take to drive there. Then I start up riding lessons and then in December I will look to buy a horse (I have owned 5 horses before so this is not my first horse).
