At home on Exmoor, the hunting season is back in full swing and my own horses are loving being back out. There are some autumnal photos here.

Despite appalling weather (felt like it NEVER stopped raining - though the photos make it look as if we have had sunshine every day!) I got back from Ride Bare on Sunday, joined on the last day by my partner Andy and 2 friends on 3 of our other horses :-)

I've uploaded the last test ride, which a friend and I did on Sunday. Its the last leg of Ride Bare, 18 miles across Exmoor, and the next time I ride it will be with Sarah on our way home, I hope :-)

I've blogged about Ride Bare already, but now its almost here! In less than 3 weeks time, Sarah Braithwaite and I are setting off on our biggest riding challenge yet, riding from North Wales to Exmoor, a distance of over 200 miles, and we will be riding for at least 2 weeks, camping or staying at farms along the way.

To celebrate the launch of our book at the end of July, Sarah Braithwaite and I are riding from North Wales to Exmoor (from her place to mine!) in the last 2 weeks of July.

2 riders, 2 horses, 260 miles, no shoes :-) If anyone wants to ride with us en route (shod or barefoot) they will be very welcome :-)
