Linda is a real Canadian Cow Girl who lives a happy, but sparse life in Alberta herding cattle with her husband. Linda chronicles her life on her blog, One Old Cow Girl's View. At the end of the summer, Linda lost her trusted horse, Pic. She is now facing another challenge - cancer.

Linda and her husband have very little in the form of material possessions. They live a frugal life, but are very happy and they are very much in love. Linda learned about an alternative treatment for her cancer in Europe.  She is trying to raise money to travel to Europe for this treatment.
