This week's blog is going to be based on the variety of autumn and winter blankets we have available at Baker's. We carry a variety of brands and blanket styles, and I am going to describe each of them to you so you can figure out what blankets you would want to purchase to keep your equine buddies warm for the upcoming Canadian weather. 

The first blanket brand that we carry at Baker's are the Rambo blankets. These blankets come in a variety of styles including the Rambo Wug Turnout, Rambo Original Turnout and Rambo Optimo. The Rambo Wug Turnout blanket comes in a fancy purple and silver colour combination, and is designed for a snug fit to eliminate wither pressure through a high cut neck design. The Rambo Original Turnout comes in a very christmas inspired colour scheme of green and red. This blanket has a very classic design with easy do-up buckles and belly straps, and has "formed the basis for turnout blanket design worldwide." For a heavy duty winter blanket, Rambo has created the Rambo Optimo blanket. This blanket is perfect for protecting your horse from the coldest months of the winter because it has it has a neck design, removable neck cover, leg arches and an elasticized tail cord with a plastic cover (for added wind protection). It's Euro-cut design and "1000 denier ballistic nylon outer shell is fully waterproof and breathable to over 10 times the industry standard." The Rambo Optimo has antibacterial lining for ensuring healthy skin for your horses, and has reflective strips for visibility in the dark.

Another blanket brand that we carry at Baker's is the Bucas power blankets and Bucas smartex rain blankets. Bucas blankets are very sharp in appearance with their metallic style finish, and Click’n Go closure system (a patented Stainless Steel buckle that can be closed and opened in one easy movement). Some points about Bucas blankets are:

The last blanket I am going to talk about today is the Amigo bravo plus. This blanket, like some of the other blankets explained above, includes a removable neck cover. The Amigo blankets are waterproof and breathable from its 1200 Denier Polyester Outer Shell and nylon lining.
