Well I've been sick with a cold since I got back from the AERC Convention. Only since yesterday have I finally quit coughing! Haven't felt much like riding or long lining after work, so the poor beastlies have been sitting idle again.

Yesterday had to go lift a sick foal at work for 4 hours till the weekend staff figured out how to do it properly without harming the foal and making sure it nursed and urinated when up.

Today headed up to the Centre Wellington Tack Swap in Fergus - not a bad turnout for tables with stuff on them. Decent stuff but not what I need - pony girths, bits, bridles/brownbands. We're set up for horses not these sport ponies we are now breeding and will be having under saddle this coming season. Good time catching up with people I haven't seen for a while/all winter.

I think my mom was going to head off and ride our 27 year old stallion, Kintyre El Mateus this afternoon. She hasn't ridden since Thanksgiving. I took Lynda back home, as Dave was home under the weather with an inner ear infection and lessons were going on. Plus stalls had to be finished.

Hopefully this coming week will see me back working ponies. I should have some energy as it being March Break, I have help at work to get some of the bigger tasks accomplished, especially as we have a tractor trailer load of small square bales coming in for the mow.
