If you have a horse, you should probably have this app. It keeps track of everything from your horse, barn and vet information to your horse’s next vet, farrier, deworming or dental appointment. It also includes a weight calculator and checklist of upcoming horse appointments.

Horse Exercise- Hollywood Horse Club: $2.99

Include tips for riding, pattern exercises and how to stretch your horse. It covers everything from the ground up. Features include audio and video examples, a training calendar and Q&A.

EquiCalce- Numen Communications Inc.: $0.99

It help to know how much your horse weighs. Lucky, no scale required! Simply enter in your horses measurements and it will do its best to guess your horses weight. It also shows you how to measure your horse so you can get an accurate estimate as possible.

Horse Wallpaper/ Horse Wallpaper Lite- Bluewater Publishing: $1.99/ FREE

Both apps offer a variety of horse photos you can use for your iPhone background or wallpaper. Both apps are pretty much the same except the paid version offers more pictures. The picture quality is pretty good, the photo’s are beautiful and the app is easy to use for those of you who are less tech savvy.

Breeder’s Cup: Official App- Rock Software: FREE

This app features live streaming from Breeder’s Cup races but sadly, only for a weekend in November. However, year-round, you can view past races, racehorse information and receive news concerning the BC.

Quarter Horse News- Appmii: FREE

Stay up-to-date with what’s going on in western and performance riding. Includes videos and twitter updates.

Stallion Book- Weatherbys Ltd. : FREE

A guide to hunting down the perfect stallion. It contains stallion information, pedigrees, and videos. It also shows maps so you can see how far away the horses are. It covers an international range so you can choose from all over the world. Tends to lean more towards thoroughbred racehorses but still might be worth a look.
