I went to the stable late yesterday, and checked her back leg (as I told I would do in the previous blog).
Still not good enough, but no limping and no heat.
Figured out I would just leave it and check more today.

Well, got to the stable today. My horse totally LOVES to roll around in dirt, so this is about what I get every day now:

*LOL* She's so cute, but a total mess every day...

Well, back to leg: Less swollen, but still not good enough. I think I will give her some more days before I start thinking about calling the vets. She is better, but it's just going a little slow...

This illustrate how much it was first day:

And this is how it is now:

As you probably can imagine from my drawings, it's gone down a little. I must admit I had this hope it would go faster, but hey ho.. Sometimes it's just like that...

About her food: Since I figured she started to loose too much weight, I got her some Spillers Conditioning mix and some Norwegian vitamins called Vitafor.
Since Pernille (my horse's name) doesn't like all kind of food, I was worried she wouldn't eat this. The first days she just ate it probably because she didn't have other food to eat, but today I saw her jump in to her food and ate it all with huge appetite. Made me happy :)

I also had to fix her left front hoof today. Some of her hoof "wall" (it's called hoof wall in Norwegian words, can't remember the English word for it right now) had broken to a bit that stood right out right, so I had to take it down. Since we don't have a hoofjack at the stable, I had to use a thing to carry soft drinks in!

Anyway, she was a nice and happy horse today as always. No wonder why I love her so much.

She also got on some Switch pour on today.

I'm so pleased to hear that Pernille is enjoying her new food!
I hope her swollen leg goes down soon. Give her a huge hug and a treat from me....I miss her and the other horses.
