Saturday the pony had her first jumping lesson. We’ve jumped lots of times before but this was the
first lesson with an instructor. Astri (who rides the pony a few times a week) was there to capture all this on camera! This whole blog is in fact inspired by her. Enjoy!

First one out, how to knock down a fence:

A few steps before takeoff decide you don’t want to jump.

Convince your rider that there is no way you’re going to jump that fence.

Give up coming to a full stop, and realize your one way out…

Is to just knock everything down….

And be damn proud afterwards!


Next trick, how to kill your instructor!

Step one: Be a menace

Step two: refuse To jump

Step three: move in for the kill

Last trick for today, how to get out of jumping a fence.
First tell everyone that the fence is S.C.A.R.Y.!

Get the instructor to put one of the poles down.

Walk over it with ease

Trot on like the champion of the world!
