Jersey Fresh CCI3* - a show of ups and downs

Last weekend, we travelled to NJ for the Jersey Fresh CCI3*. It was a chance for us to visit our sponsored-riders and do some product testing.
It was a show of ups and downs and mixed emotions. Sadly, Phillip Dutton had a fall on the cross-country course with Bailey Wick, in which the horse was fatally injured. I was at the water jump & saw him jump the first part of the course, leave for the woods and never come back on the other side. It was heartbreaking for everyone involved.
There were various other falls, a couple of riders had to be sent to the hospital but were ok. Scary stuff.

On the other hand, we saw special moments from Boyd Martin winning the Jersey Fresh CIC*** with Belmont, also Boyd riding one of Bruce Davidson's horses wearing Bruce's helmet cover and body protector from the 1978 World Equestrian Games and Molly Rosin, finishing 7th in her first CIC*** with Havarah's Charly and being cheered on by the most enthousiastic fan club I've seen/heard this year.
I just posted videos of the cross-country rides on Barnmice. Enjoy!
