OADG Steffen Peters' Clinic

We were as thrilled to be at the Steffen Peters' clinic at the RCMP Arena in Ottawa this weekend, as were all the auditors & riders. It was a great opportunity for them to get one-on-one instruction from the current World Champion. We were surprised to see him get on almost all the horses. As he explained, it was easier for him to understand the horse from the saddle than from the ground. It was a real treat to see him in action and reveal his training secrets.

I took some video which I will post on Barnmice in the next few days (I have to go through it all)- so stay tuned!

ECOGOLD sponsored the clinic, the riders received new saddle pads and another one was presented to Steffen as a "welcome to Canada gift".

would you happen to have any more photos of Mr Peters riding? I was there as well, but working (observing some of the lessons for riders who wanted help with off-horse work afterwards), and could not take any photos. However, Mr. Peters posture is one of the best I've seen, and it would be lovely to have some more photos for use as illustration with clients or in talks. If you or anyone else took more photos there and don't mind sharing them, that would be fantastic. Thanks! Heather Sansom
