Hey bloggers,

I bet everyone is getting ready and excited for the upcoming Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. For anyone who wants to purchase any last minute tickets for the horse show here is the link to the schedule for you. http://www.ticketmaster.ca/Royal-Winter-Fair-Horse-Show-tickets/art.... At the Royal this year we will not have a booth at the trade show so if anyone needs any new tack or equipment for the Royal come for a visit at the store.

As most people know, the Royal is a historical and traditional event hosted every November in Toronto, Ontario. Celebrating their 90th anniversary, the Royal combines every agricultural attraction you can think of into the Exhibition Place for spectators of all ages to enjoy. The Royal was inaugurated in 1922 and originally housed in the Coliseum on the grounds of the Exhibition Place. As Queen of Canada, Elizabeth II is the Fair's royal patron.  On the first show opening on November 22nd 1922, the fair attracted 17,000 entries for livestock competitions from several provinces in Canada and the United States. During Canada's participation in the Second World War, the Royal provided a forum for farmers to display equipment, discuss new trends and showcase wares. The Royal historically in the past and still today presents a grand trade show to display useful products for the public. Here is the promo video for this year's Royal to get everyone amped up and excited for the upcoming Fair. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUKs6pf-cBg

To look really sharp if you're competing at the Royal this year as well as for riders training during the winter season are Baker's new sheepskin products from The Wool Table. Sheepskin is a great material to include in your tack collection because its beneficial for horse care. Sheepskin pads provide pressure relief, prevents rubbing and maximizes comfort for both horse and rider. At Baker's we carry a selection of their products so come check it out at your next visit :) Check out The Wool Table website for more information and pictures
