I have done English for about 4 years now but I haven’t owned my own English tack till about 2 years ago. I am just wondering what brand saddle pad to get for a jumping pad. Thank you!!!

There are SO MANY choices for English jumping pads.

I personally like the BOT/ThinLine Contender II saddle pad, it has six pockets for the shims (each pocket can take up to two shims) so I have a pretty decent chance of making up for some saddle fitting deficiencies with the horses I ride, like what can happen when a horse gains or loses muscles.

If I am going to spend money on a pad I would rather have any six-pocket shimmable pad, the reason I like the Contender II is that the BOT therapy seems to help the ancient horses I get to ride relax their backs, and the shock absorption of the ThinLine also helps keep them comfortable.
