Hey equine bloggers,

The summer is flying by at a fast rate and so is everyone's show season. With seasons at the mid way point, many of you are thinking of upgrading your horses to the next level as we approach the second half of the season. With that in mind, you want to make sure you are wearing the proper equipment to ensure your safety on x-country. Many riders are wearing multiple styles of air vests, which have proven to be extremely beneficial if you were to dismount your horse during an event or if you are just schooling at the farm. Baker's supplies many different safety vests, each that are certified and provide good protection. The classic vests Baker's carries are the tipperary phoenix safety vest, which can be custom made to your eventing colours. Many eventers are wearing the tipperary vest under their air vest to provide even more protection while riding. Two other vests that Baker's carries that are popular are the air vest called 'hit-air' and the safety vest called 'airowear.' Pictures of both vests are posted on our twitter page, which you can follow at https://twitter.com/Bakerssaddlery . Safety is paramount, and wearing the proper protection is comforting while competing at any level. At Baker's, we can answer any of your questions pertaining to safety and the best safety equipment for riders, so come visit us at 11181 Woodbine Avenue in Markham :)
