They're my favorite breed too. I like your arab. Good luck in New Mexico, practice makes perfect!

haha, yeah I find that my horse and I learn on curves. He'll be going really well and then we'll encounter some issues for a while and then he goes well again. I think it's just part of the process! It's good to go and get experience at least and try the best you can!

Yeah, I'm not riding since we just got back from a show but I'm going to go down to help fundraise for the JR/YR's. I saw that you were riding. Good luck! Hopefully I'll see you there. :)

Thanks for the compliment! That's Brisa with her trainer in her very first 4th level test. Wish it were me!

She's showing one of her client's horses, Capri. She actually went to the Thermal show at the last minute after we had changed our plans! But oh well, haha. Unfortunately her horse got hurt so he's recovering right now.

That's good. No, I went to the smaller show there in January but not the CDI. I was going to go but then my trainer's plans changed so we had to change our show schedule.

I grew up in the Swedish equestrian culture so for me it is interesting to explore the US equestrian world!

i am happy you like the palomino. When he went for the three-year-old test in Sweden the Swedish and Danish judges said that they had never commented on a horses color before but they just had to add that this was the most spectacular color they had seen in a dressage prospect.

Haha, I know what you mean. I always have to tell myself "It's good to have some time to train before the next show" but that only works for so long! lol

Cool! When is your next show? I'm doing really well. Chance has been training hard and we're starting to work on the Prix St. George stuff, so that's been fun. We're planning to go to Tucson in March and continue trying to qualify for the Junior Team.

Hi Emmy! I adore dressage as well, it's so awesome to meet another horse girl bitten by the bug. The little Arab you ride is way cute! I work with a lot of Morgans, who are similar to Arabs, but have always owned Appys.
Wishing you luck!
Mandy.
