Thank you for your kind words. You seem to have a great site. I was compelled to join when I read Mr. Micklem's blog because I liked it so much.

No not a photographer - I just like to spend time in the paddocks watching the horses and always have my camera handy . The owners of my old guys are always grateful to receive the shots of their horse once they have past on . Thankfully that has only happened once . It is the very difficult part of having a retirement barn . The others are happy to see their horses playing with their friends in the fields .

Thank you for your welcome. My kangaroos are very cute - Joseph Earnest Roosevelt Devagnanam (yes really !!!) is the oldest and he is very friendly and loves to cuddle anyone, Teddy (Tedward Bear) and Dusty are a bit shy and will only allow me to pat them ...Teddy is as cuddly as a teddy bear hence the name, Dusty is a girl and can be a bit of a girl !! I have had them since they were orphaned as tiny babies.

Now that is interesting. The first horse I owned outright --- not on grandfather's farm -- was an Arab gelding. He was a neat little horse. I also rode quite a few of my friends warmbloods. To me all horses are good, kind, and worthy but there is something really special about these well-bred and sane Quarter Horses. Their versatility just blows me away...

I'm just now getting interested in it. I hope I have the patience to keep at it. Lol You can get many different colors of rings. My daughter is learning this as well. I'm basically an all thumbs kinda person so I hope I can get over that.

Thank you! I'm happy to be here. Arabian horses are a passion of mine. I love all breeds but Arabians are a favorite.

Mail (also maille, often given as chain mail or chain maille or chainmaille) is a type of armour consisting of small metal rings linked together in a pattern to form a mesh. This process is being used to make garments, jewelry and other things. It is quite beautiful.

Thank you! That's Clyde. He's actually a Boston Park Ranger horse I've worked with. I hope to get some photos of me with my horse soon. Seems I'm always taking photos, and not getting any of me!
