Hi, Thanks - that is my favorite picture of Cody. My cousin took it a few years ago when we stopped by a small lake while out for a ride. Cody turns 30 this year, so we don't get to go for rides anymore - he's just not up to it anymore. Good memories though :0)

First, I am delighted to have joined your community.
I was amused to find (by chance) this video.
He was jumping in Bourg en Bresse, France, in 1984. There was a costumed class in which I was engaged.
I went to the jury to pass because I did not disguise. The judges told me (jokingly) that I only had to compete naked.
Then (still joking) I said that I agreed (thinking they would not let me start. They said (thinking that I would not) that there was no problem.
I then put my conditions: that I entered the track, it would give me the start and I went out immediately after my course. (I was hoping they would say no ...)
Them, always thinking that I would not do it, my requirements were approved.
After the warm-up lap without a saddle (but clothed) I came back to the stables. It was soon my number.
I was with a friend who told me that it was crazy to do that. Suddenly, at the time, I stripped naked, I jumped on my horse (it was called Nenuphar of May), I crossed the paddock galloping and I made my career.
This adventure was filmed and I'm gonna long-lost copy. Last year, I found an old friend who told me that, arranging his films, he had found this one. He sent me a copy that I posted on the web.
I'm excited to be part of this great community. I've heard wonderful things about it!
Most veterinarians develop a special interest in some subspecialty of Veterinary Medicine. Some do specialized surgery, exotics, ultrasound, etc. My interest is in behavioral medicine. There is a huge, unmet need where I live for good trainers and people who are up to date on humane, reward based behavioral modification in both large animal and small animal fields. So, I decided to educated myself, and I run a small business where I consult both with other veterinarians and with pet and horse owners to help them with behavioral problems ranging from aggression to anxiety/OCD behaviors. With my veterinary background, I can rule out physical problems as well as prescribe medications, if need be. I also practice small animal medicine.
I was so thrilled, what a classy and thoughtful way to advertize. It was a nice treat for me and timely as our insurance is coming due so will ask about their policies. And thankyou

Hi Barb :) Yes, Joy's doing really well now thanks. Very much a 'big girl' if you ask her lol. We are continuing to update her web pages here, as she has so many 'cyber aunties' who love to follow her progress.
She is very 'helpful' around the place, as you can see.

I think I have enough humor to allow the rider
But I remain convinced that the next remarkable event is that it is unique and that all went well.
Imagine for a moment that I fell and I'm found naked on the track: The Inocente of the scene could have turned a gritty exhibition ...
All copies must be better than the original

It has since been viewed over 201,000 times !!...
(I did not think it can all amuse people ...)
Today I am an international judge FEI Jumping and I do not know how I would react if the same situation arose for me ...
(on this, I am available to try go around the world - provided that it is a friendly show)
With my apologies for my broken English, I am pleased to share with you these memories.

It was either Joey O'Bunny or Catskill rescue site. Her name is Bunny because Somebunny loves her now. I tell her it's a show name. She believes me.
