Yes, its lovely until you get flooded, wake up with water around your bed and then drop your laptop in the water!!!Luckily this has only happened once in 25 years of living here, so you can't complain!!!!
Thank you again, this is so much fun. I need to be careful! I had intended to access this site as another way to keep up with Jean Luc, who I have ridden with, off and on, for nearly 15 years. I think he is brilliant. I will look up your suggestion, cannot remember his name, now that it is not in front of me....dont know of him. Thanks for the suggestion and your web site....still figuring out the nuances.
What a warm welcome! As I uploaded the photos, I realized that I am woefully neglectful about keeping up with documenting my horse journey. Except for a few from this year, most of them are a bit outdated. In fact, my kids have not been photographed for a while either, so I gathered them reluctantly a few days ago before heading back to college, for a quick photo shoot! By the way, I have never been on a "blog" before, and joined because of my interest in Science of Motion and a long term commitment to Jean-Luc Cornille's principles of training. He is a genius indeed, and an important voice, a critically important voice in this tough world of equine competition. I, by the way, do not compete, and never will. Look forward to interesting dialogues.
Thanks for the welcome. Equine Land Conservation Resource (ELCR) is a national not for profit whose mission is to advance the conservation of land for horse-related activity. We help horsemen save farmland and trails in their own communities. The tools available to us include conservation easements, land use planning, PDR programs, advocacy and organizing. See our website at www.ELCR.org We've been around 12 years now and are based in the KY Horse Park in Lexington. Great thing you have going here!
Hello, I am interested in signing up for the equine massage class.
I think I'd prefer January but December can work.
Evenings are fine.
I'm not sure where you wanted us to register so if I need to go somewhere else let me know
Thanks!! Thats my Lusitano, Rei, just before he was gelded, has had gastric ulcers as he used to get too stressed with strange horses about the place, so felt it fairer to geld him, so that he can lead a normal life with other horses. Hormones are a bit awry and he has been a bit less full of himself than he was in the pic, but hope he will be back to himself soon!
Thank you.
Yes the info I plan to write about is for everyone generally. Some other people on this site possess far more educational credentials than little old me. I am not going to write anything all that advanced really, just horse nerd friendy subjects. I really appreciate the information in your reply.
Hello I have a question concerning what can be written for my group when I cover a scientific or technical article. Other than giving credit to the author, what are the restrictions here on covering science and vet subject matter? I will not be giving any medical advice either. Thank you for your great site.
