I just wanted to let everyone know that yogurt is a great fermented food and probably the easiest one to incorporate into your diet. If you are looking to branch out and try another more unusual fermented food, try looking at sauerkraut. It's most delicious and is easy to pair with many foods. It can be enjoyed incorporated into recipes or by itself. Since it is becoming popular it can be purchased in bulk food where you will find it unpasteurized (good) and you can buy a small amount.

Elizabeth. That was wonderfully informative. I am going out later to get myself some fermented foods. Kefer is one of my favorites. Thanks, Karen

Great video, Elizabeth! I had no idea the good bacteria could stave off salmonella and e. coli.
