Maybe someone should have fed the Wheetabix to the horse too!
Besides that, I have a rule with my horse that if I have to make an unplanned dismount, he must stick around for me.. I would do the same for him.

That's never going to happen. I used to be a good runner many, many years ago. Now, arthritis prevents me from running at all. I do a weird kind of running hop. Nobody wants to see that. Of course, with Weetabix, maybe that would all change and I'll find myself running along side Zuckie, rather than riding him? He'd like that for sure.
