Looks good Shirley, Cash looks really relaxed and thats very important. Perhaps you can think about looking up a bit more, looking more towards where you want Cash to go instead of where he's at. Looking ahead will help him understand better which direction you want him to go with haveing to use the rein every time

The first time I got on out here in the arena, I just got on and off a few times. The second time, we rode around the arena once. Sooooo I'm happy with this. He is doing what I ask....to the best of our ability together. I stayed pretty comfortable but need more relaxation for sure. We have had those 'nice' moments in the past so I know how they feel and how much I want that and so does Cash.

Please feel free to make suggestions.

I will be adding some video of indoor work/play too. Cash gets his wildest and does startle me a couple of times. This is all the same day as the riding videos and it's after we rode outside. Glad he kept all this energy to himself while we were riding. On a calmer day he will circle both directions, change directions, change gaits, (walk, trot and canter) and stop quickly.

Wish I had my camera man more often. My husband hates the cold in the winter and hates the bugs in the summer so I appreciate him being a good sport to take the pics for me anytime I can get his cooperation.

I am bummed...We did three videos of riding and all were too long for Barnmice except the one you saw where I have just gotten off. I'll add the YouTube links here and hopefully you all can view them that way.

This may not seem like much to many of you BUT if you'd seen how bad I'd gotten all winter, you'd see why this is BIG for me! Several times thru the winter I would get on and sit in the middle of the indoor arena and let the other riders ride around us or I'd practice getting on and off. Cash has been a good sport thru it all but he does have his lazy side that helps.

Really good to hear from you again, it's been a long time.
