I'm thinking , oh yeah, I want to tie my feet to my sometimes kooky Arab's  reins. That'll teach me trust right?

They DO have reins, its like para dressage where the reins are attached to the stirrups.

That would be pretty thrilling to see live. I wonder if they give the horses earplugs, a live band is really hard on sensitive ears.

It looks like some of them are using the traditional Chilean huaso saddle, which uses a lot of thick sheepskins, covered up with a cloth.
