Luckily she is a sweetheart. I bought her for all the wrong reasons - fell in love with this beautiful little black mare (10 months old) with bright red mane and tail, didn't need another horse, had never raised a foal, etc. But she's turned out to be smart, reliable, honest, and has great gaits. I seriously thought of selling her because she was short, 14.2 HH, but now that I've got her going, turns out she's great to ride and I lose nothing by her being shorter than I'm used to. She's truly never taken a wrong step under saddle, doesn't seem to spook at wild turkeys, round bales, geese, cows, etc, like a lot of young horses would. Now, I wonder if she'll jump.....
