Just left you a comment on your discussion about why your mare won't stand for mounting. I notice you have also asked Chris Irwin for help with why your horse doesn't like the hoof trimmer. There are also lots of 'it depends' in that as well, but my guess is that the hoof trimmer's body language may be 'rude' to your horse and she isn't happy about being made to stand still and take it.
If you can get yourself some of Chris's DVDs you will learn so much! - the latest one in particular 'Barn Manners' is well worth every penny!
