Give me your address by e-mail...william@enniskerry.net...and I will send you an overhead strap. It may just be enough to use the bit clips for your horse. Sorry for delay in response. William
Good to hear from you again.....hope you are well...yes and yes about your two points...just joined a task force to look at event horse breeding in Ireland...they were amazed at discovering about the TB blood in warm bloods...and these good people are solidly in the industry...it has been a great marketing job by our continental friends! William
Yes I have Wild Risk firmly on the radar now thanks to you...I went to see Ringwood Cockatoo's dam, whose breeding is unknown, as everyone said she must be almost TB because Ringwood Cockatoo has such quality. What did I find? A half bred short stepping less than pretty mare! Still trying to find out how she was bred. Complimented you are downloading blogs...do suggest to others that they might be of interest to read. Thank you again. William
Half asleep...doing too much - Miswaki obviously the sire of Urban Sea, the dam of both S the S and Galileo!..I believe that Coolmore see Mr P as the key line to cross with Northern Dancer
Thank you so much..don't know where Able Albert came from..I even had a picture of Stan the Man included but if was too blurred...have been away so apologies for not replying re Sky Boy...a wonderful sire who stood only ten miles from where I used to live, where they now stand Ghareeb...Sky Boy is grandsire of two half bred sires but no sons as far as I am aware...when he was standing few in Ireland thought of breeding stallions as there was a culture of thinking all stallions were dangerous...now that has all changed and there are numerous warm blood stallions jumping..in addition most stallions only made a name for themselves, positive or negative, at the end of their lives because of poor record keeping and assessment of sires. We know Mr P very well in Ireland as the sire of Miswaki, the dam of this years top classic horse Sea the Stars and the top sire Galileo ...see this link below...I find this site brilliant and 100% accurate unlike the sport horse records..thank you again and apologies for delay in response...William
Why was I so slow to see this...you are so right re Wild Risk...look up Julio Mariner who has been such an influence on jumping breeding in Holland and Germany...got on to the Dutch data base but am double checking as some info appears incorrect...THANK YOU so much for your help.
GOOD MORNING...I have reorganised the list of 10 into two lists to include Fair Play and put more logical emphasis on some of the sons of the original 10..I think it's better..thank you for your imput...William
